O2 BRAND LITTLE BOXES (2012)
For this O2 advert butterflies are dispensed from cash machines with wings made from money. I started with building the 3D model based around the blue morpho butterfly. They shot some real butterflies on set for reference so initially I setup the shaders and textures of the 3d wings to match these and then changed the textures to look like 5 pound notes. The wings required multiple texture maps including diffuse colour, specular weight, specular roughness, specular colour, brdf, transparency and SSS.
